Planning Council Support


Behavioral Science Research Corporation assists the Miami-Dade HIV/AIDS Partnership with carrying out its legislative responsibilities and ensures they operate effectively as an independent planning body working in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Office of Management and Budget, the local Ryan White Program Part A and Minority AIDS Initiative funds Recipient.  The Miami-Dade HIV/AIDS Partnership (Partnership) is the local Ryan White Program Planning Council and the official county planning board for HIV/AIDS.

BSR’s responsibilities include:

    • Staffing Partnership and committee meetings
    • Supporting the Partnership in implementing legislated tasks
    • Providing expert advice on Ryan White Program legislative requirements and HRSA/HAB regulations and expectations,
    • Monitoring and ensuring member adherence to the Partnership’s Bylaws and policies and procedures
    • Overseeing a training program for members
    • Encouraging member involvement and retention, with special focus on Ryan White Program client members
    • Serving as liaison with the Recipient, community, and the Mayor of Miami-Dade County
    • Helping the Partnership manage its budget in selection of contractors, consistent with municipal requirements
